If your body is over the age of consent then why is it illegal to have sex with a 19 year old?
I know this is a dumb question lol, but when you are over 14 your body is over the age of consent. That being said, why is it that if a 19 year old has sex with a 16 year old or a 15 year old has sex with an 18 year old why is it considered statorary rape if that persons body is over the age of consent?

Almost nowhere is 14 the age of consent. THey are easier on the 15/16 year old, mostly because of the theory they are both still minors and of the same age group. 18/19 is a legal adult and messing with minors is just wrong.
